Welcome to underground-music.co.uk. Underground Music are a music based media company that has had a very successful start to its career in the music industry. Underground Music offer web development, photography and music promotion to the music industry, as well as leaving a mark on brighter things to come. Underground Music can offer a full web solution for expanding your potential fan base.

Underground Music was founded by Ollie Martin in June 2006. The first big challenge for Underground Music was to help small bands get recognition through their internet presence. Sooner or later word was passed around and a London based PR company contacted Ollie regarding promotional work for a band named “The Republic Of Loose”. Later on that year the loose proceeded to play a high spot on the bill of oxygen festival in their home country Ireland! The Loose also destroyed the Carling Live tent at Reading Festival in 2007.

2006 was a year which was full of live demo recordings for local bands in the Basingstoke area. All of these were lead by Ollie Martin taking on the role of producer and mix engineer. After receiving high credits for his work he has gone on to study BA Record Production. One of the local bands that recorded a demo with Underground Music were Canterbury. They have now gone on to become popular in their scene and are now supporting major acts on UK gigs and tours.

2007 was a year which was going to place Underground Music in the scene and on the map! Early that year saw Ollie’s live photos for Lostprophets, Enter Shikari and Kt Tunstall all used in promotion by the bands promotion companies and the bands fan clubs. Lostprophets used Ollie’s “Ian Watkins” photo as their main image for the front of their “mega lolz” campaign.
