We love a legend at Underground Music and there couldn’t be a bigger one than the original soundclash selector Mr David Rodigan! After catching wind of him playing at Southampton’s premier DnB & Dubstep night WAX at Audio we couldn’t help but kick ourselves in excitement!
The infamous “sound killer” is a white, 60 year old, middle-class man who looks like an accountant or a dentist. But for a quarter of a century, David Rodigan has been top dog in the ganja-scented, bass-heavy atmosphere of Britain’s reggae dance-halls, where mighty sound-systems battle until dawn to bring the crowd to a frenzy. David “Ramjam” Rodigan is the most unlikely king of the sound clash, you really have to see it to believe it!
