Having already secured himself a place in the drum & bass annals of history, Crissy Criss is a world renowned DJ, radio broadcaster and now label owner. The Zoooo Records is the place where Crissy can truly launch the incredible underground talent he finds from all over the world.
Proving that true on the very first release are Bluescreens, a bass music duo from France who turn their hands to two immense tracks for The Zoooo. ‘Undercover’ may have you thinking of a super slueth, moving quietly through the night but there’s nothing subtle about the wall of bass which comes crashing down when this tune drops. Screeching synths, clattering beats and griding bassline combinations ensure there’ll be no clues left to incriminate Bluescreens when they murder the dance floor.
Backing that up is ‘In Motion’ an epic hybrid animal of D&B and electro that builds and grows gently before smashing you round the face with a huge bass-infused paw. This one will have the animals escaping from the zoo and running riot all over your town as soon as it’s dropped!
