Bio
Visionobi is an upcoming Mc/Producer from London/Southampton UK who specialises within the genres of Drum and Bass and Dub Step. At the age of 24 he is established within Southampton’s local Drum and Bass scene and has a number of residencies within the city as well as more prestigious bookings elsewhere along the South Coast.
In his time at Southampton he has made an impact on the Drum and Bass scene securing various residencies. Visionobi’s got his first breakthrough by gaining a residency at “Niteflight” a Drum and Bass night run by MC’s Greenie and Bensta. This initiated his professional career as an MC and in turn helped him obtain a residency with “Raygun Youth” and their long established nights at Soul Cellar. The "Raygun Youth" nights have given Visionobi the opportunity to host the styles of Drum and Bass that he most appreciates and made it possible for him to work with a number of established Drum and Bass artists. From here he has gone on to gain residencies for "Rhino" nightclub at their "Rhino Wax" events as well as the "Paradox" and their nights at the Square. More recently Visionobi has gained a massive new residency for "Junk", a prestigious nightclub in Southampton running a night called "We Want Bass".
Visionobi recently won the nationwide Valve MC Competition. He competed in the final on the 27th of August at Herbal nightclub in Shoreditch London and won by getting the most votes from a panel of respected DJ and MC judges. The prize was an opening set at "The Showdown" Valve's very own night run at Indigo2 the O2 arena.
Outside of Southampton Visionobi has performed at national events such as “One Nation”, “Random Concept” and "Glade Festival".
He is currently working with the Undergound Music guys to help boost their Agency and Website. These guys have helped him gain some of his bookings as well as displaying an artist profile and having various mixes of his available for download on their website.
