A fortnight after the Old Fire Station felt the force of the ‘Enter’ brand, the South Coasts hottest promoter returned to Southampton’s fresh, luxurious venue ‘Bliss’ for yet another night of mayhem. Although luxurious isn’t exactly what drum and bass is all about, it definitely administered a uniquely warm, party atmosphere.
‘Sudden Def Recordings’ artist, DJ Inter had the atmosphere in full flow alongside Enter resident MC Felon. Showcasing a selection of bass-fuelled jump-up anthems, Inter ensured the crowd were ready for a complete transformation of style.
Culture Shock was an unexpected booking for an Enter event, though his dark, techy set educated the jump-up heads, while MC Evil B kept them involved. Security were literally fighting over-excitable fans away from the artist, known better in the UK Garage scene as MC B-Live.
Fellow ‘Ram’ producer, Xample then took the vibes to an extreme level, showcasing an arrangement of upfront drum and bass anthems. Expeditious mixing had the dance floor pulsating with waves of energy, as UNCZ member Harry Shotta provided an onslaught of lyrical wisdom.
